Summer is the perfect season for all sorts of celebrations. Whether you are going to a garden party, wedding or end of term ball, you will certainly make a statement in any of these feminine and flirty shoes.

For a glamourous look, choose Troy Curtain suede sandals decorated with Swarovski crystals. If you prefer something simple to arrive in style at a barbecue party, then yellow wedges from Dorothy Perkins will do the trick.

Chloe Green, a retail heiress, has just launched her first footwear range.

The collection, which is available in Topshop and via CJG.com website, includes fourteen shoe models that bear the names of 'special people' in Chloe's life. In addition, each shoe features a signature green sole. The prices start from £115, but can go up to £175 for crystal booties.

I admit that the collection looks quite impressive; however, I'm not convinced that these shoes can actually be worn without risking falling flat on your face. Maybe they can be used as a piece of art instead.

Manolo Blahnik, one of the world's most inspired shoe designers, is planning a collaboration with high street shoe retailer, Kurt Geiger.

Blahnik's amazing shoes will now be available in Kurt Geiger's luxury shoe concessions in Liberty and Harrods. That's a great news for all shoe addicts who now have to make their way to Old Church Street which is Blahnik's only store in the UK.
