Manolo Blahnik, one of the world's most inspired shoe designers, is planning a collaboration with high street shoe retailer, Kurt Geiger.

Blahnik's amazing shoes will now be available in Kurt Geiger's luxury shoe concessions in Liberty and Harrods. That's a great news for all shoe addicts who now have to make their way to Old Church Street which is Blahnik's only store in the UK.

Cheryl Cole's shoe line

Cheryl Cole has just launched her first shoe collection. A singer, fashion icon, former X Factor judge and a happy owner of over 2,000 pairs of heels decided to try her hand at shoe design to 'make killer heels that won't kill your feet'. She owns Louboutins and other 'skyscrapers', so hopefully she knew what she was doing. 

The shoe range is very Cheryl. Animal prints, hidden platforms, a hint of studs and biker boots perfectly reflect the artist's style. 

The only complain I have is about the shoes' availability. The collection is exclusively sold at Stylistpick.com which is a fashion club providing its members with personalised fashion advice. This can be a unique shopping experience but not  necessarily for everyone. 

Oh well, lets hope Cheryl's future fashion endeavours will be more accessible. High Street chains wouldn't mind working with her.

I think it is safe to say that all women like jewellery and accessories. We adorn our bodies with belts, necklaces, earrings or rings to show our personality and to make us stand out from the crowd.

Debenhams is launching shoe jewellery called 'Blingbacks' this coming Saturday. They are little stars that can be pinned to the backs of your shoes to instantly update even the most boring footwear. They even come attached to a comfortable silicone strip to protect your heels from rubbing.

I don't know what you think about this form of shoe decoration but I may head to the nearest store to check them out.
